Biography

Hermanez is a versatile music professional from Belgium with a unique sound and style. He experiments with new genres and incorporates his passion and emotions into his music. He has been producing music for 15 years and is known for his groovy tech house and tribal infused productions that have been widely appreciated by leading DJs. Hermanez has continuously evolved in his music career, recently focusing on melodic and organic house. He has a distinct sound and is known for his well-crafted tracks with perfect rhythm and a unique tension and dialogue between each track. He has gained recognition from well respected DJs such as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and Lee Burridge forhis indistinguishable grooves and melodic hypnotic textures marked in his productions.

In the past year, Hermanez has produced a significant amount of successful music. He released an EP with All Day I Dream titled “Remedio”, his first album on Bedrock called “Deeper Roots”, and also launched his own label “Mooizo”. He places a strong emphasis on musical perfection and attention to detail, which makes him a highly sought-after producer for labels and major artists.

Music

In October 2020, Souksonic welcomes Hermanez to the label with four original beauties, starting slow with the amazing “Cadell” track. In 2022, Hermanez released the EP ‘Remedio’ on the label of ‘All day I dream’ with songs including ‘Alavanca’ and ‘Tale of the Unexpected’. In addition, he also released 2 songs including ‘Other Side’ with Lost Desert on the same label. Hermanez’s last release was on Bedrock under the album ‘Deeper Roots’. With full support from John Digweed himself, he launched 4 tracks named ‘Abel’, ‘Dust Town’, ‘Lockstep’ and ‘Rock Bottem’.

Labels

Hermanez constantly finds support from top labels and is published on All Day I Dream, Lost & Found, Shanti Radio Moscow, TrybesOf, Akbal, Magician on a duty, Hoomidaas, Souksonic, Edge, Sag & Tre. In recent months, labels such as John Digweed’s Bedrock completed his list together with guestmixes on Transitions.

Homegrown label ‘MOOIZO’

The events of recent year inspired Hermanez to bring a new story to the audience. He spent some time working on new music and will release it under his new label ‘Mooizo’, which is a celebration of the freedom and connection that people experienced after a challenging period. Hermanez has crafted a unique sound that he calls “healing sounds” that transport listeners to a place of unity and exploration of the world’s beauty. This EP is a true reflection of Hermanez’s passion for music, and his desire to bring positivity and hope to humanity. Mooizo, the label behind Hermanez, is excited to be releasing the first EP and they are confident that it will be a hit among music enthusiasts. With a series of three tracks per release, Mooizo aims to bring a first chapter of positivity to humanity, and to continue to provide music that will make people dance, smile and feel connected.

Hermanez believes in the power of collaboration. The power to connect with each other as people and make deep-rooted connections. This is also more important than ever in the world of music. In this, sincerity, honesty and passion are important core values. This attitude results in recurring partnerships with ‘Kora Musique’, ‘Yokoo’ with his label ‘Satya’, ‘Lost Desert’, ‘Guy J’ and many others.

Performances

Many large venues around the world are happy to see him at their events, he was at Tomorrowland (Belgium), Womb (Tokyo), Thuishaven Lost&Found (Amsterdam), Es Vedra (Buenos Aires), Deep in the palace (Romania), Bessonizza (Moscow) to name a few. His passion for creating a new sound and finding non-standard solutions grew into which evolved into mastering and mixing, helping artists with sound production. Hermanez, meanwhile, also built his own community under the name “Otherside”. A rapidly growing group of people coming together to enjoy the tones of Hermanez’s music, mixed with guest artists. “Otherside” organizes parties in Amsterdam and elsewhere on a regular basis in cooperation with Boson Events.
